My name is Charlotte...
I'm the owner and principal massage and raindrop therapist for Massage Is For You. I've been a massage therapist since 1998 and raindrop therapy facilitator for the past 5 years. I believe in the integrity of my profession; the healing power of nature and the strength of the human spirit. My work is my passion....
I moved to Colorado from Houston recently. I grew up in Germany and in the Caribbean Islands. I've travelled extensively throughout Europe and other parts of the world. I attended Rollins College in South Florida and graduated in 1988 with a degree in Studio Arts. After recieving a degree in art education from the Florida Atlantic University, I taught in the public school system for five years. Only years later did I decide to go back to school to become a massage therapist. My interest was first sparked through my love for sports. I competed mountain biking and road biking for 13 years. I learned a lot about the body because of my own injuries in the sport.
As a type of individual that uses holistic medicine rather then western medicine I'm always looking for *naturopathic methods to forster my own health and well-being. One of the reasons that brought me into the Massage Therapy profession was my curiousity for the human body and how it worked. One of the modalities that really intrigued me was Raindrop Therapy. I was first introduced to essential oils in 2000 and soon after learned about the wonderful benefits of the raindrop treatment. In 2004 I became an instructor and continuing education provider, which enabled me to teach this wonderful therapy to others. I follow my spirit and continue to learn as much as possible from others in the naturopathic field. In the future, I see myself teaching Raindrop Therapy nationally as well as internationally.
As a therapist, I believe in providing quality service with the utmost integrity as well as giving my clients alternative holistic solutions to their health challenges.
I've always believed in helping people to the best of my abilities. If I am unable to provide my clients with the right care I will find someone that can. I will do my best to guide them towards individuals that will be able to help them. My committement is to plant a seed with every individual that comes into my live. This seed contains compassion and genuine care to help better the health and wellbeing of my clients, and to help create a new perspective of the body, mind and spirit.
