Thai Massage
Thai Massage is the type of massage that treats the body as a whole. It does not focus on any specific muscle group. In the process of the treatment, however, the client will find his/her body opening through the process of the treatment. This type of work combines yogic type of stretching with a system of sen lines that could be seen to be similar to acupressure points. They are not the same points, but like the oriental philosophy focus on the body as a whole.
During a Thai massage, the therapist gently stretches and manipulates your body into a series of yoga-like positions. It is generally performed on a mat on the floor. You will wear loose-fitting clothing for the massage. Thai massage is more rigorous than most other types of massage and will leave you feeling both relaxed and energized.

Swedish Massage
This is the most general type of massage. Swedish Massage uses strokes like effleurage and petreusage, which means kneading and gliding. Tapotment is also used which could be hacking or tapping type of movements. Swedish is the foundation upon which other modalities are added. Almost every type of massage includes one or all of the strokes of Swedish massage. Swedish is used for relaxation.
Myofascial Release
This modality uses techniques to release tensions and tightness in the connective tissues. It helps to promote better circulation in the body and promotes increased flexibility and improved range of motion.
Tuina
Tuina means massage in Chinese, so it is Chinese massage. This type of modality is used for treatment only, not as a relaxing massage. This type of work uses a combination of acupressure points and deep circular friction. It can be a painful treatment but very effective.
Raindrop Therapy-Aromatherapy
Raindrop technique is a powerful tool in helping the body find structural and electrical alignment. This technique integrates Vita flex and massage using therapeutic grade essential oils. The oils are dispensed like drops of rain 6 inches above the back to affect the energetic body before the oils reach the skin. Once on the skin they penetrate into the system very quickly. After the oils are applied and gently dispersed with light massage strokes hot towels are then placed on the back. The frequency of the oils are enhanced through the light massage and the effects are also amplified through the hot towels. Emotionally these oil can help overcome fatigue and exhaustion, increases awareness to the sensory system, calms the nerves, sense of security and grounding, eases feeling of loss, helps heal emotional trauma, fights mental fatigue, purifying and stimulating and increases mental alertness.

Hydration with electrolyte balance is recommended. Always schedule your massage AFTER any strenuous workout routine. Gentle stretching and hydrotherapy (soak in a warm bath or hot tub) are safe and advisable after most massage sessions where inflammation or skin conditions are not an issue. Your therapist may have specific recommendations for heat, ice, stretching or a home program based on your recovery or specific medical needs. Your therapist will make a recommendation for continuation on a course of therapeutic massage, another visit or for a course of general preventive maintenance to help keep you feeling and performing at your best.
