Origin and Application
Raindrop Therapy is a powerful, non-invasive tool for helping to correct defects in the curvature of the spine. It has resolved numerous cases of scoliosis and kyphosis and eliminated the need for back surgery for thousands of people.
Raindrop Therapy originated from the research of Dr. D. Gary Young, ND and a Lakota medicine man almost two decades ago. It integrates Vita Flex and massage therapy with essential oils to bring the body into structural and electrical alignment.
Raindrop Therapy is based on the theory that many types spinal misalignments are caused by viruses or bacteria. These pathogens create inflammation, which in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal column.
The Therapy is a simple application of dropping oils like drops of rain from about six inches above the body. Hence, the name, Raindrop Therapy. It takes about an hour to complete a treatment and the oils will continues to work in the body for about 5 to 7 days after the treatment.
The essential oils used, are derived from plants, flowers, bark, and shrubs. It is the very life force of the plant that innately carry their own intelligence and frequency. This intelligence and electrical frequency, when combined with the intelligence and electrical frequency of the body create a greater healing process. Hot towels are applied on the entire back after all the oils are applied and massaged into the spine. This is covered with a blanket or towel to keep in the heat. The potency of the oils often times interact with the clients body. It is particularly felt on the skin. Sometimes rather intense but this is an indicator that the oils are doing their job. It is said that the bodies reaction is due to toxins in the body and skin. The body may feel different sensations.
For people with very sensitive skin I would recommend diluting the oils (half essential oil, half carrier oil). The treatment will promote a feeling of contentment, deep relaxation, openness, a visible elongation of the spin, and sometimes a feeling of expansion. This of course varies from person to person.
Raindrop Therapy can also be used for other systems of the body, such as Respiratory, Heart/Circulation, Brain, Lungs, Longevity, Joints/Bones, Colon/Digestion, Liver and Hormone balance.
